Fair Play Menarini Award Celebrates 30th Anniversary

The Fair Play Menarini International Award marks its 30th year, celebrating stories where sporting ethics surpass the quest for medals. Over 400 sports legends like Zico, Tommie Smith, and Ian Thorpe have been honored, promoting sportsmanship and inspiring future generations.

This year's award events commence on June 4 in Rome at the Italian National Olympic Committee, where winners will be announced. In Florence, on June 15, the 'Study and Sport' Award will recognize exceptional student-athletes. The gala dinner unfolds on July 1 at Piazzale Michelangelo, followed by the award ceremony on July 2 at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.
