Exemption obtained by Amoéba for its biocontrol product AXP12

Amoéba, a greentech company based in Chassieu, France, has received an experimental permit for its biocontrol product AXP12. ANSES granted a specific exemption, freeing Amoéba from the obligation to destroy crops treated with the product. This permit covers various crop diseases such as downy mildew and powdery mildew affecting cucurbits, grapevines, tomatoes, eggplants, basil, banana leaf spot, and strawberry powdery mildew.
This new regime facilitates trials conducted in 2025 and strengthens Amoéba's positioning in the biocontrol market, with evaluations underway in several European countries for its AXPERA product.
