Exasol Reports Strategic Transformation and Revenue Growth
Exasol AG, a global technology leader, released preliminary results for the first nine months of 2025, showing an 8.9% increase in revenue to EUR 31.7 million. EBITDA also rose significantly to EUR 3.0 million, compared to EUR 1.0 million in the previous year. However, annual recurring revenue (ARR) decreased by 4.1% due to a strategic shift from non-focus industries.
The company has adjusted its ARR guidance for 2025, now expecting a single-digit percentage decline. Despite this, revenue is projected to grow in the mid-single-digit range. Exasol anticipates a return to ARR growth in 2026, supported by new strategic partnerships and reduced churn in non-focus industries.
A notable partnership with MariaDB is set to enhance Exasol's market position by integrating its analytics engine into MariaDB's platform, creating growth opportunities, particularly in the US market.
