Inertam, a EUROPLASMA company, has been chosen to process asbestos waste from Arcachon.

The North Arcachon Basin Agglomeration Community (COBAN) has signed a partnership with Inertam, a subsidiary of EUROPLASMA, to manage asbestos cement waste from its recycling centers. This four-year contract is part of COBAN's strategy to reduce environmental risks and promote waste recovery.

Inertam stands out for its vitrification technology, which transforms waste into an inert material, CofalitMD. This versatile material has already been used in various projects in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. This partnership strengthens Inertam's local presence and reinforces its role in the sustainable management of hazardous waste.
