Europlasma: A decisive step forward for Fonderie de Bretagne in defense
Europlasma announced that Fonderie de Bretagne (FDB) has achieved a key milestone in its development for the defense sector. Recent fragmentation tests of 120mm mortar shells yielded positive results, validating the quality of the manufactured products. This underscores FDB's industrial and metallurgical expertise.
These positive results allow the ballistic testing phase, scheduled for January, to begin. If successful, FDB could start mass production as early as the second quarter of 2026.
