European Union Delegation Visits Aclara's Rare Earth Project in Chile

A delegation from the European Union visited Aclara Resources Inc.'s rare earth project in Penco, Chile. The group included ambassadors from 11 European countries and representatives from various sectors. The visit aimed to understand Aclara's initiatives, focusing on sustainable production of critical minerals crucial for the EU's energy goals.

Led by EU Ambassador Claudia Gintersdorfer, the delegation toured the project site to see Aclara's Circular Mineral Harvesting technology. This approach employs recycled water and produces no industrial waste, with a focus on rare earth elements like Dysprosium and Terbium.

The visit highlighted potential strategic partnerships aligning with the EU's transition policies. Aclara's CEO, Ramon Barua, emphasized the company's commitment to sustainable mining in line with EU priorities.
