ESPG AG Extends Lease with Ennepe-Ruhr District to Enhance Workspaces

ESPG AG, a real estate company focused on science parks, has extended its lease with the Ennepe-Ruhr district at The Fourty-Five Science Park in Hattingen for an additional 15 years. The extension involves higher rent per square meter and encompasses approximately 1,445 square meters, or 20% of the park's total space. The extended lease will facilitate the implementation of a 'New Ways of Working' concept, accompanied by comprehensive premises modernization.

The upgrade aligns with ESPG's goal of repositioning the facility, which has seen investments like façade insulation and technical systems renewal. The Jobcenter EN, pivotal for the Ennepe-Ruhr district's Bürgergeld recipients, is poised for enhanced service provision through these upgrades. Dirk Farchmin highlights the improved conditions for citizen-oriented services and beneficial workspaces for employees.

Markus Drews, CEO of ESPG AG, underscores the renewed partnership with the district, citing confidence in the site's future viability. He anticipates that the modern, efficient spaces will attract further tenants, bolstering ESPG’s position in the market.
