Eskay Mining Corp., a Toronto-based exploration company, is establishing a rapid turnaround analytical laboratory in Stewart, British Columbia. This facility will conduct detectORE™ gold analysis on drill core samples from the company's significant land holdings in BC's Golden Triangle, aimed at overcoming exploration delays due to long assay turnaround times.
The detectORE™ technology, developed by Portable PPB Pty Ltd, allows gold analyses within 48 hours, drastically reducing traditional laboratory times of several weeks. This advancement enables Eskay Mining to make faster, data-driven decisions during the crucial summer exploration season, keeping drill operations efficient and targeted.
The lab's equipment, managed by Stephen Cook, is being commissioned in Vancouver. The facility marks a strategic milestone by allowing real-time gold detection, a first for British Columbia's exploration sector.
