ESGold Signs MOU to Reclaim Historic Mine Waste

ESGold Corp., based in Vancouver, has entered a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Québec's Culture H. Dolbec Inc. The MOU aims to explore the potential supply and reuse of up to 300,000 metric tonnes of neutralized mining residue annually from ESGold's Montauban Gold-Silver Project. This step supports ESGold's strategy to transform historical mine waste into valuable materials and advance environmental restoration.

The MOU has been structured as a non-binding agreement, pending regulatory approvals and further testing. The targeted reuse of treated residues as construction aggregates offers a new revenue stream alongside ongoing gold and silver recovery at the Montauban site.

For over a century, the Montauban region has dealt with mine tailings that pose environmental risks. ESGold's processing operations aim to mitigate these risks by recovering metals and transforming residues into stable, reusable aggregates, aligning with sustainable resource development goals.
