EPG Releases First ESG Report, Sets Sustainability Standards
EPG Singapore Pte Ltd has unveiled its 2025 ESG Report, which highlights its commitment to sustainable global operations. The company has achieved full compliance with environmental regulations, ensuring 100% waste treatment and disposal. In addition, EPG completed its first greenhouse gas inventory, addressing multiple emission scopes and paving the way for a long-term decarbonization strategy.
Social responsibility is also a priority for EPG, with women representing 31% of the workforce and 85% of local recruits in managerial roles in Malaysia. EPG's supply chain remains diverse, with 47% of suppliers located outside mainland China.
The company's governance structure includes two female directors, making up 22% of the board. A new ESG Committee will oversee the integration of ESG management systems, starting with the Malaysia manufacturing plant.
