EPC Groupe Expands in Australia with Ravenswood Contract

EPC Groupe, a key player in civil explosives and blasting services, has taken a significant step in its Australian market expansion. Its subsidiary, Blastcon Australia, signed a five-year contract with Ravenswood Gold, anticipating over €20 million in average annual revenue. The contract involves acquiring assets and personnel from Roc-Drill, a specialist in drill and blast operations. This acquisition includes 16 drill rigs and transport equipment intended for the Ravenswood gold mine, one of Queensland's largest.

More than 100 staff, including engineers and technicians, will join Blastcon Australia to support ongoing operations and contract administration. A binding Letter of Intent has been signed to ensure all drilling activities continue over the contract's duration. Following required conditions, the Roc-Drill acquisition and Ravenswood contract will be effective from November 2026, marking a crucial growth phase for EPC Groupe in high-potential mining markets.
