Envirotech Completes Fourth Electric School Bus Delivery in Two Weeks
Envirotech Vehicles, Inc. (NASDAQ:EVTV) has announced the successful delivery of a fourth Bumble Bee electric school bus to Texas school districts within the last 15 days. This recent delivery was made to the Kopperl Independent School District in Texas.
The initiative is part of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Clean School Bus Program, which is providing $5 billion over five years for zero-emission bus replacements. Envirotech secured $8.57 million to produce and distribute 25 electric buses for Texas and Arkansas school districts.
Envirotech's electric buses offer a range of up to 150 miles per charge and are noted for zero emissions and reduced maintenance costs. The company anticipates further deliveries and potential expansion in 2026.
