ENGIE Reports Robust 9M 2026 Financial Results Amid Growth in Renewables
ENGIE's financial results for the first nine months of 2026 demonstrate a solid performance, driven by the strength of its operational execution. With a revenue increase to €54.3 billion, and operating income (EBIT) excluding nuclear activities reaching €7 billion, the energy firm showcased a notable 9.7% growth from the previous year.
The company attributed its success to several factors, including a surge in its Renewables and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) activities, amassing more than 60 GW in installed capacity. Additionally, more than 3 GW of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) were secured in this period.
ENGIE's strategic acquisition of UK Power Networks contributed €452 million to its EBIT since May. Despite challenging market conditions, ENGIE has improved its cash flow from operations, now at €7.5 billion, affirming its stable economic position.
Looking forward, ENGIE maintains a positive outlook for the year-end with net recurring income expected to align with the upper range of previous guidance between €4.9 and €5.5 billion.
