Africa Energy Forum 2026: A key event for Africa's energy industrialization

Cape Town will host the Africa Energy Forum from June 16 to 19, 2026. This summit will bring together businesses, investors and governments to discuss Africa's energy transition towards industrial infrastructure.

Participants, including Sun Africa, will invest in transmission projects and mining corridors, essential for the continent's commercial future. Renewable capacity developers include ACWA Power and AMEA Power, while financing and infrastructure will be provided by Globeleq and TotalEnergies.

The forum will adopt a pragmatic approach, focusing on steel, concrete, and transmission lines. Roundtables will be organized to discuss capital deployment with key institutions.

The Youth Energy Summit (YES!), focused on entrepreneurship, will conclude the event, involving 600 young people. Various global leaders from the public and private sectors will participate in this landmark edition.
