Energiekontor Revises 2025 Earnings Forecast

Energiekontor AG has adjusted its earnings forecast for the financial year 2025 due to project delays in Germany and altered conditions for British wind energy projects. The revised earnings range for the Group's earnings before taxes (EBT) is now set at approximately 30 to 40 million euros, a significant reduction from the previous forecast of 70 to 90 million euros.

The projected shortfall is attributed mainly to the delayed sale of wind energy projects, which was originally expected to boost earnings within 2025. These delays are due to administrative hold-ups in Germany and grid connection approval issues in the UK, impacting the anticipated 2025 revenue and shifting potential earnings to 2026.

Negotiations for purchase agreements with institutional investors are ongoing, but key conditions for closing transactions are not expected to be fulfilled until after the year-end, further deferring revenue recognition to the next financial year.
