Energiekontor Expands Portfolio with Holtumer Moor Wind Park

Energiekontor AG has successfully commissioned the Holtumer Moor wind park, increasing its own portfolio's generation capacity to approximately 455 megawatts. This marks a significant step in Energiekontor's strategic expansion plan, aiming to reach over 680 megawatts in coming years. Located in Lower Saxony, Germany, the wind park features a Vestas V162-7.2 turbine with a 7.2 megawatts capacity.

Following its commissioning in May 2026, the Holtumer Moor project aligns with Energiekontor's plans to incorporate the development into its expanding portfolio. By the end of the year, Energiekontor intends to add two solar parks in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, collectively reaching an additional 113 megawatts, under long-term PPAs with Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH.

Future projects include six wind and solar parks set for operation by 2028. Energiekontor’s development pipeline now includes permitted projects totaling over one gigawatt, underscoring the company’s commitment to growth and renewable energy expansion.
