Hydrogen Technology World Expo 2026: EKPO Unveils Fuel Cell Innovations

From October 20 to 22, 2026, EKPO Fuel Cell Technologies will present its cutting-edge fuel cell stacks at the Hydrogen Technology World Expo in Hamburg. This event will see the debut of HyFleet, the world's first hydrogen-powered road-legal side-by-side vehicle. Utilizing EKPO's NM12 stack, HyFleet boasts a range of up to 400 kilometers with a quick refueling time of about five minutes.

EKPO advances hydrogen technology for demanding applications, such as specialty vehicles in agriculture, forestry, and tourism. The HyFleet initiative, supported by BRP-Rotax, demonstrates the effectiveness of hydrogen fuel cells under real conditions. The vehicle's 90 kW fuel cell system, including a passive hydrogen recirculation system, enables operations in temperatures down to −20 °C.

EKPO's over 20 years of experience in fuel cell technology underpin their role as a leader in industrialization within the automotive sector. The company also contributes to green hydrogen production, developing components for PEM electrolyzers.
