Elmos Semiconductor SE Kicks Off 2025 as Anticipated

Elmos Semiconductor SE announced its first-quarter financial results, reporting sales of 126.9 million Euro, a decrease from 136.8 million Euro in the same period last year. The company's EBIT stood at 25.6 million Euro, leading to a 20.2% EBIT margin, down from 24.7% in Q1 2024. This decline is attributed to lower order volumes and fixed cost effects due to a challenging market environment.
Despite these challenges, Elmos significantly improved its adjusted free cash flow, reaching 21.5 million Euro, a notable increase compared to the previous year's negative figure. The company remains optimistic, predicting a gradual recovery in order volumes as inventory adjustments conclude.
Elmos upholds its 2025 guidance, targeting sales of 580 million Euro ± 30 million Euro and emphasizing potential risks, including trade tensions. The forecast assumes capital expenditures to be around 7% of sales, with a positive free cash flow expectation of 7% of sales.
