Electricité et Eaux de Madagascar has announced the total number of shares and voting rights as of August 31, 2025. The share capital consists of 5,738,299 shares. The total theoretical voting rights amount to 6,232,952. However, only 4,412,952 of these rights are exercisable.
This difference is explained by a court decision. The Paris Court of Appeal ordered a five-year suspension of certain shareholders' voting rights in May 2025. This suspension primarily concerns Mr. Valéry Le Helloco and several associated companies.
