ENCAVIS and Sinebrychoff Enter Long-Term Renewable Energy Agreement
ENCAVIS, a German wind and solar park operator, and Sinebrychoff, part of the Carlsberg Group in Finland, have inked a 10-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). This agreement, announced on November 20, 2025, sees Sinebrychoff sourcing renewable energy from ENCAVIS’ Paltusmäki wind farm in Finland, commencing January 2026.
This deal aligns with Sinebrychoff's commitment to using 100% renewable energy, a crucial element of Carlsberg's sustainability goals. ENCAVIS will supply about 25 gigawatt-hours annually, covering 40% of the wind farm's production. Both companies emphasize the importance of such partnerships in achieving their environmental targets, including Carlsberg's aim for carbon-neutral breweries by 2030.
This agreement expands ENCAVIS' renewable portfolio, partnering with firms like Amazon and Google. ENCAVIS CEO Mario Schirru highlighted this PPA as pivotal in driving decarbonization efforts.
