Eagle Plains Resources Launches Drill Program at George Lake
Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. has announced the initiation of a funded diamond drill program at its 100% owned George Lake Project in Saskatchewan. The drill program, slated to start in late January 2026, will cover approximately 1650 meters.
The George Lake Project, characterized by a substantial but sub-economic critical metal presence, focuses on sedimentary-exhalative stratigraphy. The plan involves systematic 200-meter step outs from historical intersections to enhance mineral exploration.
TerraLogic Exploration Inc. will oversee operations, with New Age Drilling Solutions executing the drills. The project benefits from a partnership with the Ya'thi Néné Lands and Resource Office and eligibility for the Saskatchewan Targeted Mineral Exploration Incentive.
The 6868-hectare site, featuring untapped extensions and new potential discoveries, is supported by advanced geophysical data from a 2022 survey.
