Avolta's Hudson Wins 20-Year Duty-Free Contract at Seattle-Tacoma International

Avolta AG, listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange, has secured a 20-year duty-free contract at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). Operating through its Hudson brand, Avolta will expand over 2,800 m2 of retail space across three concourses, further enhancing its presence at SEA where it already operates in travel retail and food & beverage sectors.

Avolta plans to create stores in the A, N, and S Concourses, offering a unique retail experience inspired by Seattle and Washington State. This will include locally sourced foods, Washington State spirits, and an exclusive Seattle-themed range. The space will also host live performances and tastings, capturing the essence of the region.

Steve Johnson, President & CEO, North America, stated that this project will elevate the travel experience at SEA. Port of Seattle Commissioner Sam Cho highlighted the contract's role in offering opportunities for women, minority, and small-owned businesses, aligning with Seattle's commitment to local entrepreneurship.
