Avolta AG Secures 12-Year Contract Extension at Miami International Airport

Avolta AG has successfully secured a 12-year extension for retail and food and beverage operations at Miami International Airport (MIA). This agreement, covering the North, Central, and South terminals, strengthens Avolta's longstanding presence at one of the busiest gateways in the United States.

Avolta's subsidiary, Hudson, will renovate 40 retail stores, introducing new concepts and enhanced digital engagement to meet changing passenger expectations. HMSHost, also part of Avolta, will continue and transform over 20 F&B outlets, blending local and global brands. The focus will be on digital tools for efficiency and speed.

Miami-Dade County officials expressed support for the extension, seeing it as part of a shared vision for modernizing MIA. With a goal of reaching 77 million passengers by 2040, this agreement aligns Avolta with the airport's growth and transformation strategy.
