DRONE VOLT presents the LineDrone and its innovations at CIGRE 2026
DRONE VOLT, a major player in the professional civilian drone sector, is showcasing its latest innovations at CIGRE 2026 in Paris. Among them is the LineDrone, the only drone capable of landing on power lines up to 765 kV for inspection and maintenance missions. This drone, developed in partnership with Hydro-Québec, promises to reduce intervention times and risks.
The LineDrone offers advanced features for power grids, such as corrosion measurement and the application of photonic coatings. A dedicated version, the LineDrone DLR-SX, allows for the deployment of sensors for real-time diagnostics.
This technology, already adopted by operators like RTE, aims to optimize predictive network maintenance. DRONE VOLT thus aspires to contribute significantly to the efficient management of global electrical infrastructure.
