DRONE VOLT expands its Powerline business in Europe
DRONE VOLT, an expert in professional civilian drones, announces a significant milestone with its Powerline project. The company has completed an ambitious mission by installing monitoring sensors on nearly 100 kilometers of power lines in Europe. This operation highlights their "Drone as a Service" approach, combining operational expertise with advanced technologies.
Marc Courcelle, CEO, emphasizes that this mission strengthens the company's international presence and its ability to conduct large-scale operations. The LineDrone, the centerpiece of this strategy, enables interventions on live power lines, reducing risks and environmental impact.
A target has been set: to install up to 200 sensors per year for three years, potentially generating annual revenue of €500,000. Technological development plans include increasing the LineDrone's capacity to operate on lines up to 735 kV.
