Drägerwerk Reports Strong Growth in H1 2026

The preliminary figures for the first half of 2026 show robust performance for Drägerwerk AG & Co. KGaA. Net sales increased by 7.7% net of currency effects, reaching EUR 1,603 million, up from EUR 1,510.2 million in the same period last year. This growth was driven by both the medical and safety divisions, which saw increases of 7.6% and 7.8%, respectively.

Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) more than tripled to EUR 64 million, with the EBIT margin rising to 4.0%. This was attributed to significant sales growth and an improved gross margin. Order intake grew modestly by 1.8% to EUR 1,747 million. The safety division surged, whereas the medical division recorded a decline, partly due to a high prior-year baseline.

For 2026, Dräger forecasts net sales growth between 2.0% and 6.0% and has raised the EBIT margin lower target to 5.5% to 7.5% due to strong operational performance. The full financial report is anticipated later in July 2026.
