Deutsche Rohstoff AG Expands 2026 Drilling Efforts
Deutsche Rohstoff AG is accelerating its 2026 drilling program through its US subsidiary, 1876 Resources. The company will now operate two drilling rigs in Wyoming. Since late February, the first rig has been active, targeting four wells. A second rig will commence operations on March 16, initially focusing on three wells in different formations.
The company plans to initiate production from ten wells by mid-year, with possibilities of expanding the program to over 20 wells depending on oil price trends. Despite a less extensive hedge book, the company can capitalize on high oil prices, keeping most production unhedged.
Salt Creek Oil & Gas' venture is progressing well, with its nine-well project expected to start production mid-year. CEO Jan-Philipp Weitz emphasized the organization's adaptability and preparedness in response to market changes.
