Derichebourg's Significant Net Profit Increase Amidst Economic Challenges
Derichebourg, a leader in metal waste recycling, reported a 63% rise in net profit attributable to owners of the parent, reaching €122 million. This remarkable growth was driven by the company's resilience and the improved contribution from Elior Group. The recurring EBITDA margin improved to 9.6% from 9.2% the previous year, despite a slight decline in recurring EBITDA to €319.5 million. The company's recycling division showed good performance, particularly in September 2025.
The fiscal year saw Derichebourg's revenue drop by 7.5% to €3.3 billion due to decreased volumes and weaker demand in the automotive and construction sectors. Despite a tough market environment for non-ferrous metals, the company achieved a slight revenue decline of 1.0% in this segment. Public sector services revenue also decreased by 4.2% following the end of certain contracts.
The company managed to control costs effectively, reflecting in a sound financial structure with reduced net debt. Looking ahead, Derichebourg expects favorable regulatory changes and continued improvement in Elior's contribution to support future growth.
