Delivery Hero SE Sells foodpanda Taiwan to Grab

On March 23, 2026, Delivery Hero SE announced a share purchase agreement with Grab Holdings Limited for the sale of its foodpanda business in Taiwan. The transaction is valued at USD 600 million, paid in cash, subject to adjustments, and is expected to conclude in the latter half of 2026 after regulatory approvals. Deal protections, including a break fee, have been established to ensure the alignment of closing the transaction.

The proceeds from the sale will be used by Delivery Hero to repay debt and for general corporate purposes. In 2025, foodpanda Taiwan achieved a GMV of EUR 1.5 billion and generated positive adjusted EBITDA.
