Delivery Hero Boosts Q1 Growth with Everyday App Strategy
Delivery Hero SE reported an 8.8% year-over-year increase in Group Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) for Q1 2026, reaching €12.5 billion. The company's total segment revenue saw a 17.8% rise to €3.7 billion, driven by its Quick Commerce segment, which grew 30% compared to the previous year and now represents 18% of the Group's GMV.
The company's strategic shift towards becoming an Everyday App has successfully increased customer engagement across multiple verticals, with 55% of users adopting various services offered by Delivery Hero. The Quick Commerce segment remains a key driver, contributing to substantial GMV growth. CEO Niklas Östberg emphasized the focus on high, profitable growth.
Regionally, notable GMV growth was observed in MENA at 16.1%, Americas at 18.1%, and Europe at 6.8%. Delivery Hero is confident in achieving its adjusted EBITDA targets for 2026.
