Deezer announced a revenue of €131.9 million for Q1 2026, a slight decline of 1.6% year-on-year, aligning with management expectations. The French market saw a 9.1% rise in direct subscribers, bolstered by strong brand positioning and strategic promotional investments. Globally, direct subscriber numbers increased by 8.7%, underscoring robust market traction.

The company reported a 14.4% decrease in partnership revenue, primarily due to the runoff of the Mercado Libre deal, though new partnerships like Telenor and Fitness Park are ramping up. Despite this, the Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) from partnerships rose by 11.8% owing to an improved partner mix.

Strategically, Deezer advanced its AI monetization efforts by licensing its AI detection tool and launched 'Deezer for Business', enhancing partner engagement through tailored music experiences. The newly introduced Flow Tuner maintains the exclusion of AI-generated tracks from recommendations, enhancing user trust.
