Decade-Long Partnership Fuels Starlink's Global Connectivity

STMicroelectronics and SpaceX mark ten years of collaboration, enhancing global internet connectivity through Starlink. This partnership has led to the development of custom-made chips, supporting over 8 million users in more than 150 countries.

Starlink's phased-array antennas, designed with ST's BiCMOS technology, connect with thousands of satellites in low Earth orbit. These antennas, the first of their kind for consumers, provide high-speed internet and are easy to install.

Manufacturing takes place in several countries, ensuring a robust supply chain. The collaboration aims to further advance next-generation technologies for satellites and user terminals, continuing to focus on innovation and expansion.
