DBV Technologies: New advances in the treatment of peanut allergy
DBV Technologies recently presented positive data from its Phase 3 VITESSE study at the EAACI 2026 Congress. These results concern the VIASKIN® Peanut patch in children allergic to peanuts who are also affected by other atopic conditions such as asthma or atopic dermatitis.
The study demonstrated significant efficacy of the patch compared to placebo. In treated children, response rates averaged 46.6% versus 14.9% in the placebo group. Furthermore, DBV initiated the THRIVE study to evaluate the patch's efficacy in infants aged 6 to 12 months. The results of this study could influence future immunotherapy protocols.
DBV Technologies continues to strengthen the position of its VIASKIN® Peanut patch as a potential treatment, pending its approval.
