Dateline Resources Completes Colosseum Gold-REE Survey
Dateline Resources Limited has completed a magnetotelluric geophysical survey at its Colosseum Gold-REE Project in California. The survey, regarding its resemblance to the Mountain Pass rare earth deposit, covers 167 stations over a 200-meter line and 150-meter station spacing grid.
Initial geochemical assays show anomalous concentrations of rare earth elements, enhancing exploration potential. A significant resistivity anomaly on line 2200N corresponds with REE-bearing fenite and trachyte dykes, suggesting a carbonatite-related alteration zone.
The survey mirrors Mountain Pass's geophysical profile, indicating a gravity high, magnetic low, and moderate resistivity, positioning Colosseum as a promising exploration target. Upcoming steps include 3D MT inversion modelling and completing the geochemical sampling program by mid-July.
