DATAGROUP Announces New CFO Appointment

Pliezhausen, 25 March 2026 – DATAGROUP SE is set to expand its Executive Board with the appointment of Niels Ackermann as Chief Financial Officer, effective 1 June 2026. This strategic move strengthens the company’s financial leadership, which has so far been managed by CEO Andreas Baresel.

Ackermann brings over 25 years of international executive experience in both CFO and CEO roles. His expertise lies in managing private-equity-backed firms and executing buy-and-build strategies. His background includes leadership positions within European healthcare and the pharmaceutical industry, as well as roles in medium-sized industrial companies.

Max H.-H. Schaber, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, highlights Ackermann’s extensive finance and M&A experience as crucial for DATAGROUP's growth strategy. Ackermann is expected to enhance organic growth and further the company's buy-and-build approach in Europe.
