Danone and Arcor: a new alliance for the Argentinian dairy market

Danone and Arcor announce the creation of a joint venture for the dairy market in Argentina. This partnership is based on the integration of the dairy activities of Danone Argentina SA, Mastellone Hermanos SA, and Logistica La Serenísima. Building on more than twenty years of collaboration, these two industry giants aim to accelerate innovation and commercial expansion.

With eleven production sites, this alliance promises new opportunities in the dairy market, including milk, yogurt, and cheese. Danone and Arcor will share equal control of the joint venture, thus strengthening their commitment to the Argentinian market and Latin America.

Alfredo Pagani, president of Arcor, sees this move as a strategic reinforcement, focusing on high value-added products. The transaction, subject to regulatory approvals, should strengthen the position of both companies in the consumer goods market.
