DAMAC Digital Expands IT Capacity to 6,000MW Globally

DAMAC Digital, a global digital infrastructure provider owned by DAMAC Group, has reached a planned IT capacity of 6,000MW across 13 countries with more than 35 sites. Announced at the Datacloud Global Congress 2026 in Cannes, the milestone comes amid increasing demand for AI, cloud computing, and data infrastructure.

The company aims to achieve 2GW of operational capacity by Q1 2028. It has commenced work on 10 new sites, expecting eight to be operational by the end of 2026, and targets over 700MW across 14 sites by Q1 2027. With partnerships with five global hyperscalers, DAMAC Digital is expanding in markets including Europe and Asia.

Founded in 2021, DAMAC Digital started with a 12MW campus and is now serving hyperscalers and cloud service providers with advanced facilities designed to support AI accelerators. The company leverages DAMAC Group's expertise in land acquisition and large-scale project delivery to meet global digital infrastructure needs.
