CBI: August 2026 review, mining activity update and share buyback
Crypto Blockchain Industries (CBI) announced an annualized return on its Bitcoin mining operations exceeding 10% for August 2026, thanks to Bitcoin's rise to $79,000. However, this return remains below the targeted annual return of 20%.
CBI plans to allocate 25% of its mining profits to share buybacks at a maximum price of one euro per share, a proposal supported by its majority shareholder, Ker Ventures. This decision will be discussed by the Board of Directors after the Annual General Meeting in September 2026.
Despite fluctuations in power grid access impacting Bitcoin production in August, CBI's crypto portfolio performed well, reflecting the favorable market environment. Nevertheless, the company emphasizes the ongoing uncertainties surrounding its projects and the risks associated with crypto assets.
