Crédit Agricole S.A. Reduces Share Capital with Treasury Share Cancellation
Crédit Agricole S.A. has announced a reduction in its share capital following the cancellation of 31,999,995 treasury shares. This action, decided by the Board of Directors on October 6, 2026, represents approximately 1.05% of the company's share capital.
The decision aligns with a share repurchase program conducted between August 10 and September 23, 2026. This initiative aimed to counteract the dilutive effects of a capital increase for employees, totaling 605.5 million euros, as previously determined by the Board on May 20, 2026.
As a result, the share capital now stands at 9,077,707,050 euros, consisting of 3,025,902,350 shares. On October 13, 2026, 1,195,893 treasury shares remained under a liquidity agreement managed by Kepler Cheuvreux.
