CPI Property Group Releases Summer Update
CPI Property Group (CPIPG), a prominent European landlord, shared an update on its recent initiatives. On July 7, 2026, CPIPG issued its inaugural European green bond (EuGB), continuing its sustainable financing leadership in the CEE region. Proceeds will fund assets aligned with EU taxonomy standards, with performance assessed as "very good" by Moody's. The Group will disclose green bond impact reports on August 31, 2026.
MSCI upgraded CPIPG's ESG rating from "BBB" to "A" due to improvements in human capital and sustainable practices. On July 31, board member Philippe Magistretti retired, with no plans to co-opt another member.
In 2026, CPIPG issued €1.7 billion in bonds, enhancing its debt maturity profile. Additionally, CPIPG and CPI Europe AG are exploring a potential retail assets combination, potentially boosting operational effectiveness and financing flexibility.
