Court Approves Notice for Class Action Settlement on Weed Killers
The Circuit Court of St. Louis, Missouri, has given preliminary approval to a proposed class action settlement with Monsanto Company, amounting to up to $7.25 billion. This settlement addresses claims that exposure to glyphosate-based weed killers like Roundup® may lead to non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL), a serious blood cancer. Monsanto refutes all allegations of wrongdoing. The settlement aims to provide financial compensation to affected individuals without the prolonged risks of continued legal battles.
The Settlement Class includes U.S. farmers, landscapers, and others exposed to these weed killers before February 17, 2026. Compensation ranges from $6,000 to $165,000 and varies based on exposure type, age, and disease severity. Monsanto's funding is set over 17 to 21 years.
Class members must submit exclusion requests or objections by June 4, 2026, with a final court hearing on July 9, 2026. For more information, individuals can visit WeedKillerClass.com or contact the provided hotline and email.
