CoTec Advances Multi-Gravity Separator Technology Deployment

CoTec Holdings Corp. has taken a significant step towards the commercialization of its Multi-Gravity Separator (MGS) technology. A dedicated testing and demonstration platform is being established at Corem, Canada, to facilitate this deployment. The SCMG2 unit, essential for CoTec's strategy, is undergoing assembly in the UK and is scheduled for testing in Q3 2026.

The company aims to leverage the SCMG2 for improving mineral recovery from existing mining operations and tailings sites. CoTec holds exclusive rights through its agreement with Salter Cyclones Limited, positioning it strongly in the iron ore sector. The MGS technology's potential for recovering fine particles positions CoTec to tap into various commercial opportunities, starting with its Lac Jeannine project.

Collaborative efforts with Salter Cyclones and a focused strategy on iron ore applications are expected to create a high-margin mineral recovery business. Initial efforts are directed at iron ore tailings in Brazil, highlighting CoTec’s forward-driven pipeline.
