Core Silver Initiates Drilling at Touleary Project
Core Silver Corp., alongside Arcus Development Group Inc., has begun its 2026 diamond drilling program at the Touleary Project, located 115 km south of Dawson, Yukon Territory. The program targets approximately 3,000 meters, focusing initially on the 2011 Discovery Zone.
Drilling targets at the Discovery Zone comprise extensions from the 2011 campaign, which revealed promising copper-gold-zinc-silver intersections. Historically, drilling explored roughly 335 meters of a potential 3.5-kilometer strike length, suggesting extensive untested areas.
Additional targets, such as Target-4 and Target-8, remain undrilled but show significant potential given their strong geophysical and geochemical indicators. The broader Touleary area features promising VMS characteristics and is strategically situated within a copper-rich geological belt.
The project's accessibility may improve with the Northern Access Route, easing exploration and reducing costs. Core Silver's initiative marks its first campaign since 2011, pursuing wider mineral system evaluations.
