Core Silver Expands Copper-Molybdenum Footprint at Laverdiere
Core Silver Corp. announced promising results from its 2025 soil sampling campaign at the Laverdiere Copper Project in the Atlin Mining District, British Columbia. The company conducted a systematic soil geochemical survey across a 1.4km × 5.6km grid, resulting in the collection of 231 soil samples. These samples have outlined a significant copper-molybdenum mineralized corridor extending 1.7 kilometers northwest of the Main Skarn Zone.
The survey discovered two high-priority targets, Anomalies Y and Z, indicating potential for future drilling. Moreover, strong copper and molybdenum anomalies were identified, with values higher than ten times the local background levels. The results suggest the presence of a large porphyry-skarn system that remains open in multiple directions.
Core Silver's exploration efforts have traced mineralization over five kilometers laterally, with further exploration likely. These findings enhance the project's discovery potential, aligning with known high-grade skarn and porphyry mineralization. The company plans to continue exploring this promising site.
