Copper Road Resources Announces 2026 Exploration Plans for Ben Nevis Volcanic Complex

Copper Road Resources Inc. has unveiled its 2026 exploration program for the Ben Nevis Volcanic Complex (BNVC), situated in Ontario's mineral-rich Kirkland Lake-Larder Lake region. This initiative follows the raising of $1,084,900 in new funding and the company's holdings of Sterling Metals Corporation shares valued at $3 million. The BNVC project covers 174 claim cells over 10,693 hectares, with Copper Road aiming to assess its potential for volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) deposits and porphyry mineralization.

The exploration is segmented into three phases: data interpretation, fieldwork initiation, and a diamond drill program targeting up to 6,000 meters. Notably, Expert Geophysics has conducted a Mobile Magnetotellurics survey over the area, revealing significant geological insights. These findings are expected to guide the identification of high-priority drilling targets. Copper Road's systematic approach could redefine the understanding and resource potential of this historically under-explored area.
