Coolita Unveils Indonesia's Inaugural FAST Media Alliance
In Jakarta, Coolita Technology PTE. LTD announced the launch of Indonesia's first FAST (Free Ad-supported Streaming TV) Media Alliance. This initiative joins broadcasters, technology firms, and media organizations to foster the digital evolution of television in the region.
The alliance, co-initiated by Coolita and the China Intercontinental Communication Center (CICC), includes major broadcasters like TVRI and Metro TV, with Tencent Cloud as the tech partner. FAST integrates traditional linear TV with internet streaming, supporting ad-supported content delivery.
The alliance aims to assist broadcasters in transitioning to digital models while maintaining free-to-air TV's advantages. The new platform also encourages international collaboration to enhance Indonesian media's digital landscape.
