Timber Manufacturers: Revenue down in the first half of 2026
Les Constructeurs du Bois (LCB) announced first-half revenue of €5.7 million for 2026, a 38% decrease compared to last year. This decline is attributed to delays in the launch of several projects, notably due to administrative issues in Thaon-les-Vosges and Les Forges, as well as the commercial success of the Eco'City in Houdemont. The second half of the year could see a recovery thanks to the signing of these projects and planned launches.
Challenges also include delays to the Campus Cambium project in Arnould, impacting annual forecasts. However, LCB remains optimistic, with projects in Alsace and Bormes-les-Mimosas signaling geographic and sectoral diversification. These initiatives should help stabilize long-term financial results.
LCB anticipates stabilization in the second half of the year thanks to confirmed deals and projects already underway. The group remains confident in its ability to continue its growth in the green building sector.
