Compagnie des Alpes' turnover up sharply in Q1 2024/25
Compagnie des Alpes (CDA) reports a notable increase of 30.7% in its turnover in the first quarter of the 2024/25 financial year, reaching 261.8 million euros. On a comparable basis, excluding the Urban group, growth is 23.4%.
This increase is explained by strong demand for its ski areas and leisure parks. Sales in leisure parks jumped by 25.3% on a comparable basis, partly thanks to an exceptional Halloween season compared to the previous year.
In the ski resort segment, CDA recorded a growth of 7%, neutralizing the effect of the two additional holiday days in December, reflecting continued enthusiasm for winter sports.
The Distribution & Hospitality division also prospered, with a turnover of 17.4 million euros, an increase of 25.4%, benefiting in particular from increased anticipation of reservations.
