Compagnie des Alpes Reports Strong Q3 Sales Growth
Compagnie des Alpes (CDA) announced robust sales figures for the first nine months of the fiscal year 2024/2025, with a total of €1,126.1 million, representing a 15.1% increase over the previous year. Notably, the Q3 sales rose sharply by 27.2% compared to the same period last year. The company's ski and outdoor activities division experienced significant growth, with sales increasing by 7.6%, driven primarily by favorable Easter timing and optimal snow conditions.
The leisure parks division also saw a substantial rise, with sales up by 29.9%, aided by strategic acquisitions and enhanced park attractions. New features like Aquascope at Futuroscope contributed notably to this growth. Meanwhile, the Distribution & Hospitality sector grew by 6.9%, leveraging the upscale repositioning of properties and expanded distribution agreements.
CDA remains optimistic about its year-end performance and maintains its guidance for an approximate 15% increase in full-year EBITDA, provided stable economic conditions persist. Recent strategic investments, including a 33% stake in Terrésens and the acquisition of the Belantis park, are expected to bolster future growth.
