Cold Jet and Nippon Sanso Revolutionize Dry Ice Production in Sweden

Nippon Sanso, collaborating with Cold Jet, has unveiled a groundbreaking fully automated dry ice production and recovery facility in Köping, Sweden. Officially launched in late May, this facility sets a new standard in the Nordic region, targeting sectors such as airlines, food, pharmaceuticals, and industrial cleaning. The facility boasts a production capacity of 2.2 tons per hour, reducing transport times and ensuring high-quality dry ice delivery.

By leveraging Cold Jet's advanced turnkey solutions, Nippon Sanso avoided the challenges of piecemeal component sourcing. Advanced automation minimizes human error, with technologies like PR750H Pelletizers and RE-CO₂ 320 Recovery Systems, enhancing efficiency. The CO₂ recovery systems are central to its sustainability efforts, significantly reducing waste and cost.

This facility integrates dry ice production with existing operations, enhancing flexibility. Stefan Persson of Nippon Sanso emphasized the importance of this partnership in meeting logistical needs efficiently.
